General points
This website is deliberately built to be sparing. There are no cookies, no tracking, no analytics services and no embedded third-party services such as Google Fonts, Google Maps or reCAPTCHA. Fonts and all other content are loaded directly from our server.
Hosting and server log files
The website is operated by Hetzner Online GmbH in a data centre in Germany. When the site is called up, the server processes technically necessary data (IP address, date and time, page called up, browser type) in log files. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, our legitimate interest in secure and stable operation. The log files are deleted automatically after a short time. A data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR is in place with Hetzner Online GmbH.
Videos on this website
All videos are hosted on our own server. No services such as YouTube or Vimeo are embedded, no cookies are set and no data are passed to third parties. The welcome video is only loaded once you start it – before that your browser transfers nothing for it.
Contact form and email
If you contact us using the form or by email, we process the data you provide (name, email address, content of the message) solely in order to answer your enquiry. The legal basis is your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, or Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where your enquiry relates to a possible contract. The data are deleted as soon as they are no longer needed for handling the enquiry and no statutory retention obligations apply.
Your rights
You have the right to information about the data stored about you, as well as to rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability. You can withdraw consent you have given at any time. Where we process data on the basis of a legitimate interest, you have the right to object to that processing under Art. 21 GDPR. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The competent authority is the Landesbeauftragte für den Datenschutz und für das Recht auf Akteneinsicht Brandenburg.
